CraftBridge does not ask you through this website or its lead form to provide Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial account credentials, passwords, medical information, or precise location information. Do not send this type of information unless it is specifically required for a legitimate later process and you have been given a clear explanation of why it is needed.
2. Sources of Information
We may receive personal information from:
- You directly, including information you submit or provide during communications.
- Advertising or lead-form platforms, such as TikTok, when you voluntarily submit a CraftBridge lead form. The platform may separately process information under its own privacy policy.
- Participating third-party providers, when necessary to coordinate or follow up on a task inquiry or opportunity you are considering.
- Hosting and security providers, which may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- Respond to your request for information about home-based task opportunities.
- Contact you on behalf of participating third-party providers about task categories, availability, requirements, materials, fees, compensation terms, and other project conditions.
- Determine which current provider or task information may be relevant to your request.
- Maintain records of inquiries and communications.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the CraftBridge website and related systems.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents.
- Comply with applicable law, legal process, and legitimate regulatory or law-enforcement requests.
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not use your submission to guarantee a task, acceptance, compensation, or ongoing assignments.
4. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:
- Participating third-party providers when disclosure is needed to respond to your request, coordinate follow-up, or provide information about a task opportunity you are considering.
- Service providers and contractors that support hosting, security, communications, data storage, or similar business functions, subject to appropriate obligations where required.
- Government authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, court orders, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
Participating providers are separate organizations and may have their own privacy practices. Before providing information directly to a provider, review any privacy notice the provider gives you.
5. Sale, Sharing, Cookies, and Advertising
CraftBridge does not sell personal information for money. The current CraftBridge landing page does not intentionally use third-party advertising pixels or analytics cookies. Hosting and security infrastructure may process limited technical information needed to operate and protect the site.
CraftBridge may disclose contact information to a participating provider when necessary to respond to the task-information request you made. Depending on the law that applies and the specific circumstances, certain disclosures may be regulated differently. Where applicable law gives you a right to opt out of a regulated sale or sharing of personal information, CraftBridge will honor that right as required.
If CraftBridge later changes its use of advertising, analytics, or tracking technologies in a way that materially changes these practices, this Policy will be updated and any legally required choices or notices will be provided before or when required.
6. Calls and Messages
When you voluntarily provide your phone number and request task information, CraftBridge may use that number to follow up about the request and related task information. The specific method of communication may depend on the contact information and permissions you provided.
This Privacy Policy is not a substitute for any consent that may be legally required for automated, prerecorded, or marketing calls or text messages. If separate consent is required by applicable law, it should be presented at the point where your information is collected.
You may ask CraftBridge to stop non-required follow-up communications. Stopping communications does not affect processing that is legally required or reasonably necessary to complete an earlier request.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to inquiries, coordinating provider follow-up, maintaining appropriate business records, resolving disputes, protecting against fraud or misuse, and meeting legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the status of an inquiry, the nature of communications, applicable provider arrangements, and legal requirements. When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable requirements.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Please do not send passwords, one-time codes, government identification documents, financial account credentials, or other unnecessary sensitive information through a CraftBridge lead form or ordinary task-information communication.
9. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, the law that applies, and whether the relevant statutory requirements are met, you may have rights concerning your personal information. These may include the right to:
- Confirm whether we process personal information about you.
- Request access to certain personal information.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of certain personal information.
- Obtain a portable copy of certain information.
- Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling where those rights apply.
- Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request where applicable law provides an appeal right.
- Exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.
We may need to verify your request before acting on it. Verification is used only to protect your information and confirm that the person making the request is authorized to do so. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law permits, subject to legally permitted verification steps.
These rights are not absolute. We may deny or limit a request where an exception applies, but when required we will explain the basis for that decision and any available appeal process.
10. Children's Privacy
The CraftBridge website and lead-generation activities are not directed to children under 13, and CraftBridge does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information was collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as required by law.
11. Third-Party Platforms, Providers, and Links
You may encounter CraftBridge through a third-party advertising or lead-form platform, and the CraftBridge website may link to third-party services. Those third parties operate independently and may collect or process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
This Policy describes CraftBridge's practices for personal information that CraftBridge receives or controls. It does not replace the privacy policy of TikTok, a participating provider, or another independent third party.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy when our practices, services, providers, or legal obligations change. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide any additional notice required by applicable law.
13. Contact and Privacy Requests
Privacy requests: If CraftBridge has contacted you by phone or message, you may submit a privacy request by replying through that same CraftBridge communication channel and clearly stating that you are making a Privacy Request.
If you have not yet received a CraftBridge communication, use the CraftBridge contact or lead-form channel through which you reached us and ask that your request be routed as a privacy request.
When submitting a privacy request, provide only the minimum information needed for us to locate and verify your record. Do not send passwords, government ID documents, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or one-time security codes unless we specifically explain why a particular item is legally necessary.
CraftBridge may request limited additional information when reasonably necessary to verify identity or authority before completing certain privacy requests.
